What's the difference between the Elite Instant Tap T3 Black and T3 Standard (Steel)?

The main difference is sparkling water. The T3 Black is a 4-in-1 tap, dispensing boiling, chilled, ambient and sparkling water. Whereas the T3 Standard (Steel) is a 3-in-1 tap, offering boiling, chilled and ambient water, but no sparkling option.

What temperatures do these taps output?

This range of taps dispenses near-boiling water at around 92°C for teas and coffees, chilled water at around 2°C which is also applicable to sparkling. Carbonation works best at lower temperatures. Exact figures vary by model, so check the product specifications for the tap you’re considering.

How is the sparkling water carbonated?

Sparkling water is carbonated using a food-grade CO2 cylinder, which connects to the tap’s under-counter system and is stored nearby. The cylinder is replaced periodically as it runs down.
